Okay okay – this is a total cop out. It is rather timely though, after all the talk of the value of time in yesterday’s income report.
Last week I introduced the LWB 100, and announced that the table would be published today. Well…it aint gonna be. Between a long weekend away at Center Parcs Longleat with old school friends, an extended journey home on the Monday, and more work commitments than you could shake a stick at, I simply haven’t been able to make time to compile the list.
So I am officially offering you another opportunity to submit your recommendations for the LWB 100. The criteria is simple (as taken from the original post):
In order for a blog to be considered, the majority of its content (i.e. >50%) must be actionable advice than can help you leave work behind (as I define it in my New? Start Here! page). So the topics could be far ranging – from freelance writing, to SEO, to niche site building, to affiliate marketing. As long as the blog in question can help you leave work behind, it will be accepted for consideration.
I have already received a fair few suggestions, but nowhere near a hundred! Whilst I will be doing plenty of work in submitting my own suggestions and scouring the web for additional resources, the more sites you suggest, the better! Here are all of the blogs you have suggested to date (no links yet – that’s for the list):
- Sean Ogle
- Steve Scott Site
- Traffic Generation Cafe
- Niche Pursuits
- IM Impact
- Alex Whalley
- Cordelia Calls It Quits
- Grad Meets World
- Adem Djemil Blog
- Outsource
- ProBlogger
- My Bonus Blog
- My Blogging Teacher
- Alexis Grant
- Suitcase Entrepreneur
- Build A Little Biz
A mere 16 blogs! Whilst I have plenty to add to that list, I know you guys can do better than that…
So you’ve got until midnight on Tuesday 14th February to submit your recommendations, and the list will definitely be published on Wednesday 15th!
Submit your recommendations in the comments section now!

I’m biased but I think my blog should be on there seeing as I’ve left work behind: http://howIgotrich.net
Also Trent’s onlineincomelab.com deserves a mention.
I like Nate’s strayblogger.com site too as it has lots of to the point actionable advice to get you started with niche sites.

You already have some great ones listed. I can’t believe Justin and Joe were not on the list yet…

Hey Kevin,
Thanks for dropping by. AdSense Flippers would have most definitely been on the list even if no one had recommended it – fantastic resource!
Cheers,
To,

Wow, thanks for the mention, Kevin! Glad you’re digging the podcast!

The number one “failure” in new LWBers is their inability to accurately judge timelines and set deadlines that really work.
Okay, I totally made that crap up. But I announced the launch of a way cool product last year – to be launched on January 23, 2012. Here it is, what… Feb 9? No product.
Wil and I are working our tails off to have it ready for ALPHA testing tomorrow.
So… to tie this rambling back to this post: I’d appreciate a site or sites to end up on the 100 that have information about realistically calculating launch deadlines as well as exactly how to set up regularly recurring receivables from members.
Although, I’m guessing many of them will.
How about a top 100 POSTS on things to help you LWB?
Thanks, Tom. Not just for extending the deadline, but also messing up your deadline. Makes the rest of us feel better.
🙂

My pleasure Bon 🙂
Top 100 posts – now that would be some undertaking! Would make for a good post though…

I’d like to second Duy’s suggestion of including Jennifer Ledbetter a.k.a Pot Pie Girl:
