Leaving Work Behind

I Want to Feature Your Story on Leaving Work Behind

Update: I am no longer paying for guest posts (I was getting far too many submissions from people whose only interested seemed to be in getting paid). But if you are passionate about a topic and still want to share your thoughts and/or story with us, read on!

Leaving Work Behind has come a long way in the past 2 1/2 years. What started out as a simple accountability journal for my own efforts in quitting my job and establishing a successful online business has slowly evolved into a community of likeminded people with a common aim.

That evolution will continue. My long term plan is for Leaving Work Behind to be an all-inclusive community — a resource for the people, by the people, if you will. With that in mind, I want your inspiring stories and case studies to become part of the Leaving Work Behind movement.

And that’s why, today, I am lifting my guest posting embargo and inviting you to share your story with the LWB community!

LWB Wants You

Here’s what I can offer you: exposure for your blog, the feedback of the LWB community, and $50 for an approved post. In return for that, you offer the community something of value in the form of a blog post.

You could share your story — trials and tribulations — and the lessons learned. Or perhaps you have launched a successful business and want to share your process. The key is that it must be inspiring and/or actionable in some way. It should help people to get closer to leaving work behind.

Here’s what I don’t want: people writing cookie cutter posts just so they can get a link back to their site or businesses writing thinly veiled promotional articles. You get the idea.

I don’t care if you’re just getting started in your journey or if you’re earning six figures — if you have something valuable to share, I would love for you to share it with us!

The Rules

Everything you should need to know is covered over on my guest post submissions page. Head over there if you’re interested in writing for Leaving Work Behind!

If you have any other questions, please submit them in the comments section below and I’ll update this post accordingly. Good luck!
