That’s my modus operandi these days. I make enough money to pay the bills and put something aside for a rainy day, so rather that continuing to focus on making more simply for the sake of making more, why not instead focus on (a) doing things I love, and (b) helping people in the process?
That’s where this latest idea comes from. It’s actually an idea I’ve put into practice before, but now I want to bring it into the mainstream, as it were, here on Leaving Work Behind.
In a nutshell, if you want to blog but you don’t have the faintest idea of where to start, I want to help you every step of the way. Not only that, I want to do it completely free of charge.

Introducing the Leaving Work Behind Blogging Mentorship Program
You may already be familiar with Beginner Blogging: a course I created to help beginners with the technical side of blogging. I offer a completely free blog installation and setup service over there, and I want to bring something similar – albeit even better – over to Leaving Work Behind.
In a nutshell, I want to help you with every aspect of installing, creating and growing a blog: from step one to the indefinite future. From plugin and theme recommendations to how to grow an audience and monetize your blog, I want to act as your guide and mentor.
Best of all, if you’ve not yet started your blogging journey, I can do this for you completely free of charge. Because I get paid a commission if you sign up for web hosting through Bluehost (who I use for all of my sites and recommend heartily), that commission can essentially act as my ‘fee’ for helping you out with your blog. So you pay for your hosting and get a free blogging mentor to boot.
