Leaving Work Behind

Corbett Barr’s Million Dollar Blog Project

Many of you may be familiar with Corbett Barr and his site Think Traffic. He is known by many as ‘the traffic guy’, and his moniker is backed up by his ability to build behemoth sites – for instance, Think Traffic attracted over 138,000 visits and 5,000 subscribers in its first year alone.

Why am I telling you this? Because Corbett has just started “The Million Dollar Blog Project”, a concept so simple, and yet so awesome, that I had to write a post about it myself.

What Corbett is promising to do completely encapsulates my whole approach to Leaving Work Behind – complete exposure to progress, methods, successes, and of course failures. So what is the project? Quite simply, the team at Think Traffic is going to build a blog with the express aim of it making a million dollars in its lifetime. A hugely ambitious project; but no one got anywhere without ambition.

I am really looking forward to seeing how Corbett gets on. I will be even more interested to see what niche he chooses, and what methods he employs in order to get results. The fact is, if I were in Corbett’s position, I would be doing the same thing as him. I guess that is why I felt so compelled to publicly endorse The Million Dollar Blog Project.

If you like Leaving Work Behind, then you owe it to yourself to head over to Think Traffic, check the project out, and sign up to the RSS feed.
