I have loved my journey with Beginner Blogging so far.
It was nothing more than an idea for so long, but now it’s become a reality, and it’s great to see it helping people so much already.
If you’re not familiar with Beginner Blogging yet, it’s a website for people who want to blog but don’t know how. The foundation of the site is a completely free beginner’s course, which takes people from knowing nothing about blogging to creating a blog they can be proud of.
The course focuses entirely on the technical aspect of blogging, but I knew that many people also struggled with the more creative side. So with the technical basics taken care of, I set out to answer all of the most common questions people have about blogging when they start out.
Today, I’m delighted to announced that I’ve completed that task. But that’s not all; we’ve also got an exclusive new service available to beginner bloggers. And as you may have come to expect, it’s completely free!
Our Free Blog Installation and Setup Service
My original intention with Beginner Blogging was to enable people to figure out how to start blogging with an easy-to-use tutorial (which I did). But once I did that, I realised that I could go one better.
Since I get paid a commission whenever someone signs up to Bluehost, I realised that could I give that commission to the user in a different form. That’s how the Beginner Blogging Free Blog Installation and Setup Service came about.
In a nutshell, we install and setup WordPress, themes and plugins on your domain, then provide further advice and answer any questions that you may have. To put it another way, we make the technical process of creating a blog completely foolproof.
In return, all we ask is that you sign up using our Bluehost link (so that we can fund the service).
We’ve already run a beta test of the service and everything has gone swimmingly so far. So now we’re opening it up to everyone. If you want to start a blog but haven’t done so yet, this is your opportunity to get started!

The Free Beginner Blogging Email Course
While I was planning out our blog installation and setup service, I saw some more ‘gaps’ in the journey between (1) wanting to blog and (2) actually getting started.
These gaps were made clear to me by existing Beginner Blogger subscribers; I asked them what they were most struggling with and their answers were invaluable.
Equipped with that information, I set out to create an email course that answers all of the most common questions that people have about blogging when they’re getting started.
I’m really proud of the course. You can find out more here, but it sets out to address all of the following concerns over a series of emails:
- You can’t (or don’t want to) pay for hosting.
- You don’t know where to start.
- You think you lack the technical chops.
- You don’t have enough time.
- You don’t know what to blog about.
- You don’t know what to call your blog.
- You don’t know how to write great content.
- You don’t know how to attract visitors.
- You don’t know how to make money from blogging (or you don’t believe it’s possible).
It is (of course) completely free, and there is no obligation whatsoever. Subscribe to the course and see if I can address your concerns about blogging. If not, let me know and I’ll do my best to help you out.
And That’s Not All…
I’m not finished with Beginner Blogging though. Not by a long shot!
I’ll have another exciting announcement for you pretty soon, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, please share your comments below; I’d love to read your thoughts!

I have a blog that I started: http://www.jrdchalktalk.com that was regarding personal things I have overcome and I want to be an activist for those same things. I struggle making the blog more appealing but I also feel like my set up for the blog was lackluster and as a result, I have kind of given up on it. I got decent feedback about my content, mostly from people close to me but I want to reach far more people. Would this course be helpful for that? Essentially, I spend a majority of my time working on things within the blog to make it more accessible and it takes away from my content writing time. I love writing and I have an audience that I want to reach just don’t know how to get it out there without shameless plugging.

Hi Jacquelyn,
The design is fine! Personally, I’d tone the purple down a little (a bit too loud for my liking) and get rid of the irritating pop up, but your focus should be 90% on content and marketing at this stage.
At the moment my course caters to total beginners – you’re already too experienced for it 🙂
Cheers,
Tom
